What happens next

2 OEM new-build supply and the global secondary and surplus market are worked in parallel where the requirement calls for it.
3 Options are validated before they are brought forward, including where the answer is that nothing meets the date.

Why the date matters

Ontario quotes three to five years for a transmission connection. New Brunswick publishes no end-to-end figure at all, and its first study stage alone has run a median of four months. Quebec decides case by case above 5 MW, with no published timeline.

In Alberta, the one province publishing its filings, 11 entries have moved an in-service date and the median move is 416 days later.
