Publishes nothing project level. No. SaskPower publishes nothing comparable to the AESO Connection Project List. There is no public, project-level list of load connection requests with project numbers, capacity figures, planning areas or in-service dates.

Operator detail
SaskPower (Saskatchewan Power Corporation), confirmed. SaskPower is the vertically integrated provincial Crown utility and the sole transmission owner/operator; there is no independent system operator equivalent to AESO or IESO.
Route to power
A 100+ MW data centre buying grid power from SaskPower follows the SaskPower Transmission Load Interconnection Process. It is a named, documented, six-stage bilateral process, not a queue, not an auction, not an allocation round. Eligibility trigger: a new load connection of 5 MVA or more at 72 kV or higher (or a change/upgrade to existing transmission service). Anything under 5 MVA goes through the ordinary service-request portal.
Typical timeline
Partly public. SaskPower publishes target timeframes only for the first three stages: 7 calendar days (application acknowledgement) + 15 calendar days (scope) + 120 calendar days (Load Interconnection Assessment) = roughly 142 calendar days, about five months, from a complete application to a costed Load Interconnection Assessment Report with a target in-service date.
Binding constraint
There is no capacity cap, no moratorium, and no allocation round in Saskatchewan. Nothing equivalent to Alberta's 1,200 MW interim cap or Quebec's block allocation calls exists. The binding constraints are different in kind: 1. Dispatchable baseload availability, not headroom on paper. SaskPower has roughly 5,900 MW installed against average system demand of about 2,600-3,500 MW seasonally, but the province's own framing is that new AI load depends on firm always-on supply.
Behind the fence
Yes, but only with SaskPower's written consent, self-supply is not a way to bypass SaskPower, it is a thing SaskPower grants. The legal gate: s.38(1) of The Power Corporation Act (Saskatchewan) gives SaskPower the exclusive right to supply, transmit, distribute and sell electrical energy in the province; s.38(2)-(3) allow SaskPower to consent in writing to supply by or to a person, on whatever terms it considers advisable. Practitioners call this the exclusive-franchise-rights waiver.
Interconnection
SaskPower runs a standard load interconnection process with no published large-load queue or moratorium specific to data centres. The province's October 2025 Energy Security Strategy leans on refurbishing coal units (Boundary Dam 4 and 5) and expanding interties to Alberta and Manitoba; a named data centre project (Verified, via live IAAC fetch on the corresponding project row, to be substantially under construction) has been allocated 300 MW of dedicated transmission capacity in two phases.
Tariff
No dedicated data centre tariff identified; coverage here is thin because SaskPower has not published a formal large-load policy document comparable to AESO's or BC Hydro's.

Known gaps. Things Could not establish from public sources, stated plainly: 1. No published application-to-energization timeline. SaskPower publishes target durations for Stages 1-3 only (7 + 15 + 120 calendar days to a costed Load Interconnection Assessment). Stages 4-6, Definition Phase, Cost Recovery Agreement, Construction, carry no published target timeframes at all. Any total figure for a 100+ MW connection would be invented. 2. No published fees or deposits for Load interconnection.
