No formal planning application had been filed as of the National Observer report, which also found no evidence the firm has built a hyperscale data centre before or owns the land outright. Capacity figures conflict: 720 MW is the developer’s own claim and is shown as an upper bound, against a grid-tracker figure of 250 MW or more. As of February 2026 the status was reportedly moved from active to on hold.
