Not shown on the map. No location has been disclosed for this project beyond Alberta Industrial Heartland — Section 15, Township 56, Range 22, W4M; ~7 km east of Gibbons, Sturgeon County, AB. Its megawatts are counted in every total on this site; only the dot is withheld, because placing one would assert a site nobody has stated.

Sources

Before the AUC as Proceeding 30518, a written hearing: 920 MW of total capability, of which about 800 MW would supply co-located on-site data halls under normal operation. Filed under the Hydro and Electric Energy Act. The announced column carries the 800 MW of data centre load, not the total capability; the two are never summed. The posted schedule ran to the applicant's final written reply on 2026-08-04. No disposition has been posted, and the AUC listed the application as under review on 2026-08-16. Nothing here should be read as approval, rejection, or a timing commitment. AESO's connection list separately carries two grid load entries under the Beacon Heartland name, P2934 and P3175 at 400 MW each; those are grid filings held in this dataset's queue layer and are not this behind-the-fence generation application. Their megawatts are not combined with this record's. Same county as the Meta/GLDC record, from which nothing further is inferred. No coordinate is published.
