A 1,494 MW gas plant, of which about 1,200 MW would power on-site data halls on a 900-acre site east of Calgary in Rocky View County. The AUC held its hearing on the plant in August 2026 and has not ruled. The federal Impact Assessment Agency decided in March 2026 that no further review is needed.
